Scope: Systems engineering for further development of the CTR HiPoLas® laser ignition system for the Ariane 6 cryogenic upper stage

With the development team: Further development of an existing laser ignition system for space applications based on client and normative requirements (ECSS), interdisciplinary development support, industrialization of the product for series production, development and cost planning, safety analyses (FMECA), drawing up product and development documentation, development and implementation of configuration and change management, planning and implementation of verification tests, support with establishing an industry partnership for electronics development and series production

Scope: Support with development in industrialization of ion thrusters, development and implementation of quality and product assurance organization

With the development team: Industrialization of various ion thruster systems for series production, interdisciplinary support with development (design, calculation, trade-offs etc), safety analyses (FMECA), product and development documentation, GSE (Ground Support Equipment) development, development and implementation of quality and product assurance organization

Scope: Systems engineering and general development support, support in defining and implementing processes for the systems engineering and space quality assurance department

With the development team: Interdisciplinary systems engineering and development support for real-time network systems for space applications, space product assurance support, inputs to safety related analyses and technical documentation, consulting and supporting services related to subcontractors and development partners, support in defining and implementing processes for the systems engineering and space quality assurance departments, inputs to customer statement of compliances (SoCs), configuration management support, inputs to testing and verification

Applicable standards: ECSS

Scope: Member of the platform coordination team, platform technical lead for thermal and mechanical engineering, subsystem technical lead, interface between the coordination team, project management and subsystem development teams/suppliers

With the development teams: Preparation of subsystem requirement specifications, review, monitoring and coordination of development activities performed at subsystem level, interface management, engineering support on both platform and subsystem level in close cooperation with the systems engineering teams and product assurance
